Our Raspberry Jam by David F. Marx is part of the Rookie Reader Series. It's a bit more challenging than Bears, Bears, Everywhere, I'd guess appropriate for grades 1-3. This is a nice little story about the adventures of a family that goes raspberry picking. The narrator, a little girl with pigtails, has a blast and loves the raspberry jam that they make by the gallon with the "fruits" of their labors. However, she eventually has enough of all the jam as you can actually have too much of a good thing. It was a cute story, though not particularly memorable.
